Everyone knows that the 1997 version of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella starring Brandy and Whitney Houston is the superior version of the classic fairytale — that’s just a fact.
And ever since Disney+ first launched, fans and Brandy alike have been wondering why the movie hasn’t been streaming on the platform.
Well, today our fairy godmothers are making our dreams come true — Cinderella is officially coming to Disney+ on February 12 — AKA NEXT FRIDAY — at the stroke of midnight.
To announce the news, Brandy virtually reunited with her Cinderella costar Whoopi Goldberg on The View, confirming, “It is definitely possible” that the film is coming to Disney+:
In conclusion: Can’t wait to sit ~in my own little corner~ and watch Cinderella on repeat for the foreseeable future starting on Feb. 12.
