We recently asked the BuzzFeed Community to tell us which teen drama TV couples should have been endgame, but weren’t. Here are some of their responses:
🚨 Warning: Spoilers ahead! 🚨
1.
Sam and Mercedes from Glee:
Fox
“They were so good for each other, supported each other, and were super cute.”
—jessies4d5bf6ac6
2.
Bonnie and Enzo from The Vampire Diaries:
The CW
“Say it with me: ‘Bonnie deserved better!’ Out of all the Vampire Diaries couples, she and Enzo were done the dirtiest.”
—kaityantoine
3.
Rory and Jess from Gilmore Girls:
The WB
“They were passionate about the same things, had good banter, and were able to inspire each other in a way no one else could. Their main issue was communication, but Jess matured a lot while he was away. I really think they should have found their way back to each other.”
—mags114
4.
Miles and Lola from Degrassi: Next Class:
Netflix
“They were perfect for each other, understood each other, and had the best chemistry.”
—stacethespacecase
“They were each other’s best match, no question. Lola was instantly accepting of Miles and loved him for who he was, while Miles was the only person who ever took Lola seriously and valued her intelligence — plus, he literally wrote a whole play for her! They were a thousand times better than Tristan and Miles, who were never good for each other. I’m glad the writers at least implied they got back together.”
—kellymartinez
5.
Jude and Connor from The Fosters:
Freeform
“They were young, but they supported each other unconditionally. Jude never had a good relationship after Connor left.”
—anonymousalicat
6.
Veronica and Logan from Veronica Mars:
UPN
“They should have never killed Logan off. I’m still bitter.”
—lucys4b299e457
7.
Sean and Emma from Degrassi: The Next Generation:
CTV
“They were meant to be. It still pisses me off to this day that Emma ended up with Spinner.”
—keshawiy
8.
Klaus and Caroline from The Vampire Diaries:
The CW
“They had so much chemistry. They should have ended up together.”
—zaibanoorani12
9.
Emily and Maya from Pretty Little Liars:
10.
Lane and Dave from Gilmore Girls:
The WB
“They were done so dirty. Lane should have been with Dave — her and Zack’s relationship felt forced.”
—annaparis16
11.
Nate and Serena from Gossip Girl:
The CW
“Dan was not good for Serena. Despite Nate’s problems, he was a really good guy.”
—gingerspicelove
12.
Pacey and Andie from Dawson’s Creek:
The WB / Via buzzfeed.com
“I love Pacey and Joey, but Pacey and Andie were much better. They had more chemistry, more love, and they were always there for each other. What the writers did with Andie’s character bugs me to this day.”
—sweetcrab87
13.
Carla and Samuel from Elite:
Netflix
—muhammadabcdef
“Their chemistry was simply off the charts. There was literally no reason for them to be paired up with other people in Season 3. I’m forever devastated that they didn’t end up together.”
—kellymartinez
14.
Aria and Jason from Pretty Little Liars:
Freeform
“They had chemistry and Jason seemed to really care for her for who she was. I was so happy when they got together — I wish it would have worked out instead of Aria marrying her former teacher.”
—kateyf45a5605d1
15.
Scott and Allison from Teen Wolf:
MTV
“They were perfect for each other and had been through so much. Her last words literally shook me.”
—clubxcrew36
16.
Elena and Stefan from The Vampire Diaries:
The CW
“They were way better than Elena and Damon.”
—balves9264
17.
Brooke and Lucas from One Tree Hill:
The WB
“Brooke and Lucas had such amazing chemistry and their scenes together were always absolutely incredible. I’m more of a Brooke Davis fan than anything else, and just the heartfelt moments she shared with Lucas were amazing. I’ll never forgive Lucas for cheating on Brooke with Peyton (multiple times) because Brucas should’ve been endgame and they were perfect for each other.”
—noradominick
18.
Xander and Anya from Buffy the Vampire Slayer:
The WB
“Anya should not have died in the finale. I’m still mad about it.”
—d4fd4ff783
19.
And finally, Imogen and Fiona from Degrassi: The Next Generation:
TeenNick
“They meant a lot to me in terms of representation, but they were also one of the best couples on the show overall. They went through so much and deserved so much better — their characters only broke up so Imogen could stay on the show an extra year, which was pointless. I’m glad the actors think they got back together, at least.”
—kellymartinez
