Of course, every woman’s experience with sexism is different, and is there is no “normal” experience. But I know many women can relate to getting inappropriate comments from older relatives on their appearance even as a kid.

Some girls experience sexism in elementary or middle school, like being discouraged from STEM classes and extracurriculars or certain sports.

A lot of girls experience sexism at home or even in small comments that reinforce the idea that girls should mold their personality and actions around boys.
